Most everything was completed at Doris Powell home. It will be completed next week so she can return home.

As said before another great week serving GOD. Please remember Sharron from Swannanoa in prayer. As they were packing their trailer Friday afternoon and calling it quits for the week she tripped in the yard, fell on her elbow and broke it. From a Facebook post by Linda Bostic:

Mr. Billy,

Maceo and I are so indebted to you, Ms. Ann, Mr. David, and all of the volunteers from California, Asheville, and other areas of NC who worked tirelessly to give us the home we could only dream about. Our lives have been impacted in a major way by the love, compassion, and generosity we have experienced. "Thank you" seems so inadequate to convey how grateful we are for all you have done for us. It's our prayer that God will continue to bless you all in a major way, give you the strength to do the things He has assigned to your hands, and provide for your every need.
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Matt. 5:16). We see it, and thank God for it!!!
We will never forget you!!

Hurricane Matthew Lumberton Rebuild May 31-June 2

Mission Trip Adventures 6.011-Tuckaseigee Baptist Association; 2-A reminder of what Jesus did for us; 3-Feeding team making us a Puerto Rican meal; 4-Tuckaseigee Feeding Team; 5-Bethleham Baptist Church, Wendell.

Mission Trip Adventures 6.01-001Had no volunteers for the first part of week. On Thursday the Tuckaseigee group arrived and went right to work. This group came with a heart to serve as needed. Some  cleaned, primed and painted the D. Powell home while others trimmed the outside of the windows.  After the inside walls were painted they moved inside ands did interior window trim. Others went to the King home to do some final sheet rock work and repair some flooring we are having issues with. Others  did the exterior window trim there.  David will be calling for a final inspection on this home next week. When team 1 finished the D. Powell painting they went to V. Powell home to do that painting. Only here two days but came to serve and got lots done.

Mission Trip Adventures 6.01. The Bethelem team came on Saturday and worked on the Campbell home. They installed wood flooring, took down the old upper cabinets and worked at installing electrical outlets and switches. This home like the Powell home has come a long way in the past month.  Our goal is to complete these homes by end of June.
