Ann’s Last Day

by AnnIMG_2003 My final day in Bayfield was very busy.  It started off with Backyard Bible Club featuring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and of course the Angel of God.IMG_2004 We did sidewalk chalk painting….IMG_2006 and played 4-square.IMG_2010 Pastor Joel always makes sure we have fun during music.IMG_2014 He presented the plan of salvation in a very interesting way.IMG_2002This sweet child accepted the invitation.  It made the whole week worthwhile.IMG_2015 After lunch Peggy, a church member,  took Syble, Sake and I for a mini tour and some shopping in Durango.  She rode us past Vallecito Lake.     IMG_2016 This wood carving was at the entrance to the Lake.  It is one of many that were carved from burned trees after the fire of 1990.IMG_2017The entranceway at the church is coming along good.IMG_2023 For dinner all of the volunteers were hosted by church members and taken to the Bar D Ranch.  It is a chuck wagon type show.IMG_2030 Dave and Linda were our hosts.IMG_2019                           The Bar D ChapelIMG_2020 A wagon of beautiful flowers.IMG_2022 Peggy is always having fun.IMG_2024                            Me and BillyIMG_2026Rex and Lois our Texas friends and honorary NC Baptist Men.  Lois has been doing Shower and Laundry duty since May 24 and Rex is a great fixit man.IMG_2027Marianne, Jan & Melinda Gore with MikeIMG_2028Youth Pastor Joel and RoniIMG_2029The Willinham (sp?) familyIMG_2031 The Bar D Ranch Wranglers.  They were great entertainment.  It was a fun evening.

Today (Friday) I am on my way home.  Please be in prayer for safe travel.  I will not see Billy again until July 28.
