This was a short week but we had lots of great volunteers to finish out 2017. It was cold but they still came with hearts to serve as called. Teams installed flooring at two homes, caulked and painted in 3 homes, installed floor joists and sub floor and trimmed out windows.
We had a college group come in for Saturday from Camp Dixie. They worked on a demo on a home in Lumberton. Another team stoped work to pray with homeowner.
To start off 2018 we are in need of lots of help. At present time we are working on 27 different homes and have 73 waiting to start. If we get enough volunteers we want to finish 7 homes in January and start another 4. To do this we need electricians, plumbers, framers, roofers, trim workers, flooring installers, painters and several general labors. The opportunity for witnessing has also been great this year. If you feel you are not able to help in Lumberton please pray for the ones who can.
