Week 6-A Week of Painting

On Monday morning we started by wiping all the walls with a damp cloth and then finished all of the priming. The rooms were then painted in several different and pretty colors. The Mcleod's finished all the walls while we were at NCBM training.

Week 5- May 5-10

As usual I am still behind on posting to this blog. We are actually working in week 7 and I am reporting on week 5. I hope to get week 6 posted in a day or two.

This week Billy,Travis, JD & John worked on the vinyl siding. I even learned how to cut it. Trey worked hard on the sheetrock & finished on Saturday as promised. I'm just glad we did not have to do that job.

Connie & Brooke did clean-up. Bryan & Sharon came on Saturday. Bryan helped with siding and Sharon put in window jams.

April 28- May 3

For the week of April 19-26 Billy & I were at Operation In-As-Much in Momeyer, Fort Caswell for the NAMB Disaster Relief Roundtable and Laurinburg for NCBM training. David, Frances, Chris & Lori, Sam & JD worked on the house while we were gone. The outside of the house was wrapped, the windows installed and the insulation completed. Sheetrock was delivered on Tuesday & we got to play with our new toy, the sheetrock lift. We were helped by Carey, Mark, Frank, Raeford, Sam, Terry & JD. Sam hung the front and back doors and we started the vinyl siding. Dean & Matt worked on the HVAC. Tanya helped JD with the siding. Bert & Lounette from across the street cut and raked grass.
