A Little Shopping Trip

Since I am on cooking duty my work day starts earlier and ends later than Billy's and the other construction workers but I do get some time off between meals.  Today I got to go to this cute little house which is Timeless Treasures Quilt Shop.IMG_0335It's hard to believe that this little town than doesn't even have a grocery store would have this nice quilt shop just outside of town.IMG_0333She sells mostly Moda Fabric and has a good selection. The owner is on the left and that's Sharon purchasing pear placemats on the right.

IMG_0334 This is Loretta from Washington, NC. modeling a quilt for sale in the shop.IMG_0340 We rode back into town & went to a little antique/junk store.  I found a piece of sandwich glass to add to my collection.IMG_0337 We went to the Montana Mad Hatter shop and met this lady who has been making custom hats for 30 years.IMG_0338 Of course I had to try on one.

Billy is still doing sheetrock mud but tomorrow he gets to start on the second coat.

You look great in the hat! So you bought sandwich glass instead of quilt fabric?
